DON'T MISS #LUWALHATI2016 ON ITS LAST DAY!

Oh, look: an exhibit!

The UP Photographers’ Society , Shoot UPM and UP Photography Society (OPTICS) seemed to have summoned all of the photographic pixie dust in the world and molded it into this wonder called the #Luwalhati2016! Luwalhati is an exhibit that reveals the organization's members’ highest point in the talent-o-meter in the form of heart-pulling photographs. Don’t miss its last day--which is apparently today (April 29), but don’t fret!--at the Museum of a History of Ideas. You can come in from 10 AM to 5PM. Admission is absolutely free.

Thinking of missing this soulful experience? No, just no. Here are a few reasons why you should see it in this lifetime:

  • It's a great break from the toxicity brought by acads. Pile of papers. Ounces of stress you forcefully indulge yourself in because of mushrooming reports. The every-weekend-fieldwork chain. You just can't deny the fact that you need to take the 'no' out of #nochill even just for a while to keep you sane. Thanks to the exhibit, you can now free your mind away from heavy musings-- aside from glory, the photos displayed also scream freedom (which means: freedom from acads for a moment, yes?).

  • It's the very first collaboration of UPD, UPM and UPLB's photography organizations. I know, right-- how cool is that? With this fact at hand, it's even way cooler to feel that you've become a part of this historical moment. Need we say more?
  • It's art. When it's art, you definitely need it. The pictures that currently inhabit inside the Museum of a History of Ideas are ready to replenish your probably-tiresome view on life. Ranging from mountains, to sky lanterns, to public transportation, and even up to portraits that'll make you ask, "how did the photographer even manage to take this shot?!"-- all are laid out to make you realize that you are part of a world that's worthy of everyone's feeling of glory.
